I found the course was really challenging and gave the brain cells quite a work out at times!  Still practise seems to have paid off.  Thanks for the tuition, it was a great course and it more than prepared me for the exam, which is exactly what I needed. Richard

I did wonder whether the late nights would go slowly in a classroom environment but I enjoyed the open, informal and coaching approach you adopted.  I thought the structure of 11 evenings and 1 Saturday worked very well. Chris

I just wanted to write and tell you that you're a good teacher!  We had a good holiday with Sunsail, and my boat-handling skills were considerably better than last year.  Not perfect by any means, but most of the problems were the sort of things that I guess you just pick up with experience.  So thanks!  It was a far calmer boat!  All the best. Many thanks for the Day Skipper course.  Being unfamiliar with big boat sailing, prior to starting the course I was concerned that it would either drag or I would get lost at an early stage.  Each week the three hours flew by and I was surprised how much we all picked up, almost without realizing it.  Since completing the course, I have taken the practical course and found I was very well versed with the necessary theory.  Both courses have fired my enthusiasm for going further into the sport. Just a brief line to let you know that Lizzie and I did our Day Skipper Practicals last week, and passed with flying colours.  The skipper said that our theory grounding was very sound, and we were the best prepared of all the people there that week.  Thank you very much for your efforts last year.

It was an extremely hard week, but extremely enjoyable too.  Here's to more pilotage, passage plans and sailing cruises in warm places!! Greg and Lizzie
