Individual tuition
Come along to Orchard Farmhouse and have one to one tuition for just £25 per hour (No VAT is payable on top). It is an excellent way to learn fast. Recently a student came along for a day to brush up on their navigation theory to feel confident for their Yachtmaster practical and exam. Whatever skills you want to focus on, we will target just your needs so that in a short time you have the tools you need to go sailing with confidence.
Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore Theory or RYA Day Skipper Theory. We take you through the syllabus in an interesting way so that as you learn you get a very real sense of how to put theory into practice. We can build a course around your needs, working odd days or regular evenings, half days, weekdays or weekends. If there is more than one of you, we may be able to offer a discount off our normal prices. If you live far off, consider an intensive week and stay with us at the Bed and Breakfast. Please enquire about costs - it depends on your needs and requirements.
VHF Marine Radio.
We no longer offer this course but we do have an associate school that may be able to help if we can gather a group of at least four people. Please enquire.
Radar
We offer the RYA radar course.
